In TSR, when Nynaeve and Elayne are compelled by Moghedien, I recall them thinking something along the lines of not mentioning X (which was something important), but Moghedien didn't ask about X, and they wanted to please Moggy and not make her mad by bringing up something unrelated.
Unless Graendal actually asked a specific question about what Rand said word for word - which is possible, but not a given - she wouldn't have heard all about what Rand had planned for her.
