Seriously? If Rand isn't strong enough by himself to do this there is no damane who would be able to. It's just not possible for one person to do it.

Didn't you just claim that he could make a gate of 12 by 12?

They have all the evidence they need that it does exist... they experienced the "weapon" first hand! They have no reason to believe that the weapon doesn't exist. They fought AS through the Gateway before the explosion and have no reason to think it was anything other than a deliberate weaponized use of the OP.

Villages that appear and disappear, men who die with huge amounts of bugs crawling out of them, food going bad in a blink of an eye, huge explosions. There has been a whole lot of weird things going on in Rand land. With the Amyrlin of the white tower not knowing anything about a super weapon, or any other of their captives knowing anything about it, some suspicion about the root cause is going to occur. There is no way possible that they don't start doubting the super weapon existence.

The text is pretty clear that not only do the common folk fear the OP, but that the Royalty goes out of their way to keep things like this. Healing would only make the OP "normal" or "friendly". Something the Blood would not want. Tuon has clearly known about Healing for some months, yet the man who leads her personal guard is uneasy with the concept of being Healed by the Power. Believe what you will, but until this is written in one of the texts I'm not buying for a second that the Seanchan will adopt or view this knowledge as useful.

Unconscious soldiers are not going to object to strenuously. Not to mention a good portion of the Seanchan army originates in the Westland.

Right, because the average villager in Illian even has a clue that some Amyrlin was the puppet of her Hall and thus the mistakes she made were really due to the Hall making her do them... again, useless historical cover-ups aren't something I see the Seanchan doing backflips over. Not to mention this will take months and months to come into the open since Elaida is the only prisoner we are aware of that has any knowledge of the 13th.

Perhaps the average villager seeing the AS as vulnerable might lessen the awe the AS have gone out of their way to instill. Why was the white tower trying to cover up all their blunders if there would be no ill effect?

As per Elaida, she will be spilling everything she knows withing days or hours of capture, not months.

Egwene and company took 10 damane captives and it was expressly said that it was a risk to take them prisoner (easier to kill them instead), so odds are they killed at least 10-20 more. Factor in that there were probably at least a few killed on the 30 raken that went down and the Seanchan lost more women than they gained in this raid. They picked up Traveling and traded a minimum 1:1 damane:AS. AS are less useful as weapons than damane.

In Egwene's words;

"She'd fought. She'd been glorious and destructive, the Amyrlin of judgment and fury, Green Ajah to the core. And still, the Tower had burned. And still, more to'raken had escaped than had fallen. The count of wounded among those she'd gathered was somewhat encouraging. Only three novices and one Aes Sedai dead, while they'd gathered ten damane and killed dozens of soldiers. But what of the other floors?

The White Tower would not come out ahead in this battle.

The White Tower was broken, physically now as well as spiritually. They'd need a strong leader to rebuild. The next few days would be pivotal. It made her more than exhausted to consider the work she'd need to do. She had protected many. She had resisted and fought.

But this day would still mark one of the greatest
disasters in the history of the Aes Sedai."

They gained a few weaves and about 30 channelers, lost about 30 channelers and 30 raken in the process. Considering this a huge success rather than a draw is not IMO an accurate accounting of the facts involved.

Gaining gateways is in no way a minor thing.
Knowing the procedures of various AS spy networks no minor thing.
Instilling fear that the White Tower is vulnerable no minor thing.

All good things come to those who wait.
