I think , RJ had a reason calling it almost identical to Egwenes last name . I see two possibilities here :
1st - Egwene will blow the Horn in the hour of Great Need as her last hope , perhaps from being turned to the Shadow by Mesaana and 13+13 circle . And this will works because Mat was dead sometime at
Caemlin or/and Ruidhin
2nd - She will be the most famous Heroine of 3rd age , too famous that when she will die and tie to the Horn , it will be assosiated with her name
