wow. i love it. though I don't think the TP could be stored.

I was wondering about a theory. I don't know if it has been thought of before.
In TGS, LTT said that in order to seal the DO away, you have to touch him with the power. And that when saidin touched the DO, he was able to taint it as a result, which is why everything went wrong.
Now, I think it would be reasonable to assume that when LTT touched the DO, the DO used that touch as a conduit through which to push the taint to the True Source.
So let us say it was like this:
TS(origin of OP) <-> LTT(channeling conduit) <-> DO(pushed the taint through LTT to TS)
Now, I was wondering, what would happen if the origin of OP was NOT the TS? More specifically, what would happen if someone were to use a pool of saidin that was separate from the main TS such as the Eye of the World in book1 to touch the DO? So that there would be no direct connection between the actual True Source and the DO. In such a circumstance the DO might only be able to taint that small pool leaving the majority of saidin untouched. The majority which someone else might then use to seal the DO away at the same time.
Like this:
EotW(origin of OP) <-> Rand(channeling conduit) <-> DO(touching only the small EotW)
So the three becoming one might be saidin, saidar and an artificial "third source" of power like the EotW. Saidin and saidar to touch the bore, while at the same time EotW was used to touch the DO (push him away so that the bore can close maybe?)
Ofcourse the EotW is gone but if Rand has all of LTT's memories then he might know how to recreate it. Could there be something to this idea I wonder?
And if that won't work then I wonder if this idea could be used in the Saidin/Saidar/True power theory. I mean if its possible to draw the OP from the TS and "store it" in a well or the EotW then maybe this could be done with the TP too?
Could Rand channel TP, but instead of using the power up he would "store it" for later use. So that when the time came to seal the DO away, he could use this pool of TP power to touch the DO. Rand could use this as a loophole to get around the whole permission issue maybe? After all, if Rand stores the TP in a pool such as the EotW then he could probably use that pool for anything, so long as he had the DO's permission when he created it. And if the DO does not know what Rand is planning, he might well give that permission thinking that Rand has just given in to the addiction. By the time DO realises what Rand had done, Rand would have a separate pool of TP that was no longer connected to the DO that he could use at will without permission. And since the pool would not be connected to the DO, he could probably channel it even at Shayol Ghul without frying, since there would be no direct connection to the DO, only the TP pool.
Could there be something to that idea?

I've gotten the impression that the DO knows exactly what someone is doing and killing Semi might fly but i don't think storing his power would get well underway.

I like this theory. Beats the TP and Saidin+Saidar theories for workability IMO. *NM*

That would definitely be pretty cool. It'd also explain just what the Eye of the World was FOR!

And maybe this was what Herid Fel wanted to talk to Rand about? A Well of Saidin/Saidar mixed.

Maybe, but I think the problem is the Dark One's ability to affect weaves that should last forever.

Exactly. The weave itself didn't fail but the flows were powerless against the bubble of evil.
