I doubt this will prove to be correct, but might the thing that Sanderson says will become important from the second set of three books be Alviarin's letter to Rand? It hasn't added much to the story up to this point, and with her role in the BA known to Egwene, she may be willing to try something risky, like joining Rand's entourage. Any thoughts?
