Yes. I admit to not being fully familiar with a third rate rip off of a language I speak. So? fionwe1987 Send a noteboard - 27/11/2009 11:18:39 PM
Ah. SO in fionwe1987 logic, ONLY food being mentioned means that we should take it for granted that medicine is in there too.

Well, the presence of some herbs in there makes Egwene think of how Suana seems to be a Yellow who uses herbs. The obvious interpretation is that there are medicinal herbs in there. I do not have to run through moronic alternatives like "Egwene is stupid" or "Sanderson is stupid" to reach an obvious conclusion.
They are root vegetables that don't need as much sun, dumbass! That doesn't mean there is any medicine on the balcony. And I offered Sanderson's idiocy as a possible choice.

Dude, you were the one who said:
A second issue with Egwene's perception is that she equates Suana's vegetables with Nynaeve's medicinal herbs.

Exactly why should the vegetables growing inside preclude the presence of herbs growing outside? Either you've completely lost your mind, or felt you had to make a post at any cost, and filled it with stupid non-issues.
Which I said. RtD Original Post!

You gave it as an option, equally probable s the other stupid ones you provided.
Except for your diseased and prejudiced reading of this statement however, everyone else only saw what I said.
Well, I've argued this position more than once, but I would think a decent Talent for Healing would still be a sine qua non.

That is what you would think, but since exactly when is an author or a character deserving of criticism because a fan theory is disproved?
Bull. She couldn't even understand what Nynaeve was doing when she demonstrated her discoveries after Egwene came to Salidar. Egwene has never Healed anyone, and there is no indication that she knows more than the theory. Her moderate depiction of ability in this scene is simply another continuity error of Sanderson's.

Egwene doesn't understand Nynaeve's extremely complex weave to Heal stilling. Since this is a completely different skill, and from Romanda's PoV, we know that skill in the old style Healing has nothing to do with skill in the new style, I fail to see what your point here is.
And Egwene has never Healed anyone because she has never been in a position to do so after being raised Aes Sedai.
