Something just suddenly occured to me about Rand's channeling sickness. It occured to me while discussing the possibility that Rand's use of the TP was intended by Moridin. That possibility seems pretty unlikely in my opinion and until that eureka moment it seemed that there was evidence against it as well. After all, how could Moridin be aware of a possibility that Rand was not aware of? My original argument was that it took duress and desperation for Rand to be able to perceive the connection to the TP so wouldn't that same level of desperation be required for Moridin to be aware of Rand in a similar fashion. But some niggling part of me had to consider that if it WAS possible for Moridin to know, how would he have found out. It would have to be evidence not a guess. Then something clicked for me. What if Rand has been using or at least trying to use Moridin's OP connection just like he did the TP connection. This would explain how Moridin COULD know and Rand be ignorant. After all Moridin never uses the OP so he would never alert Rand to this phenomenon by trying to use his OP connection.
But this phenomenon can give us some insight into Rand's channeling sickness as well. Everytime he reaches for the source he get's dizzy, nausea, and even sick. What if that is happening because he is reaching for two different locations at once. Essentially he is trying to get a hold of a vacillating point and it's making him dizzy or motion sick if you will. Strangely simple I would say.
Now that I am accepting the possibility that Moridin could know about the extent of their link it also suddenly makes LTT's awareness of Moridin more telling. From my memory LTT did not experience sickness when he took over Rand's body. Couple that with his awareness of Moridin and his ability to identify the TP and it makes it possible that a fully integrated Rand will be able to distinguish his OP connection from Moridin's and his channeling sickness will come to an end.

But why wouldn't the antagonism continue during the channeling, not just the seizing. *NM*
