Where the hell or should i say the light is Mesaana? Iv been thinking since all sister have resworn on the oath rod and stated they are not dark friends. I think i know part of that answer. I think Mesaana swore on the oath rod and said shes not a dark friend. if not im still certain she could have. reason being shes not a dark freind, shes chosen! Remember in Mesaana'a head and any forsaken's that is, dark friends are something that grovel on the floor when you enter a room, to her she is not that! shes the mistress not the pack hound!
So that leaves the question who is she Aes Sadai wise, i think shes a brown (not becuase of what Alviarin saw but because of whom Mesaana is...shes the would be teacher). if shes a brown she would be in a place of power amoung them, namely one of four people! they are as follows:
three sitters
Saerin Asnobar (too many POV'S say this cant be and besides Mesaana's not about to rat out Black Ajah unless she has to)
Shevan - (the one that in the books may be her, she never gave a lesson to Egwene and she wears a dress like Mesanna wore in one of Alviarin's meetings, but on the other side of the coin, Shevan is the one who nodded to one of the points made by Egwene when confronting Elaida (mesaana does not care about Aes Sadai and hates them, so i cant see her nodding about anything like that) also she served penance of Mortification of the Spirit because of Elaida (not something a forsaken is about to let happen - then again i know a forsaken could get around that) but my main point for her not being forsaken is that shes been a sitter for ages and i think if a prominent sitter were to be replaced it would be noticed by the other sitter she would have worked with for ages Saerin! So that leaves us with:
Juilaine Madome - she is one of the too young sitters, new to the job! shes the odd woman out, the one that we know the least about! I think above all others, I belive this is Mesaana! Juilaine Madome fits the bill and there is other evidence to prove it, namely how she got that sitter position!! which brings me to Jesse Bilal!
Jesse Bilal - First Chair - Jesse Bilal has had one POV and from it we can gather that the idea for the younger sitters and a grab for power (which i guess must have had at one stage Galina Casban involved in it) came from her the head of the brown. becuase of her it caused furher chaos in the tower. but i dont think Jesse is a black/forsaken, her POV appears to prove that she is not. I think as head of the brown, mesaana used her, placed her self in a place of power and caused as much trouble in the process!
In short i think Mesaana is Juilaine Madome!

I think Mesaana is an Aes Sedai we've seen named and described but not much more than that *NM*
