I think... Etzel Send a noteboard - 23/11/2009 06:51:41 PM

I have a pet theory that Lanfear's lost strength went to Moiraine, and Moiraine will be as strong as Cadsuane. This will allow both Moiraine and Cadsuane to have equal footing according to Tower customs, so that neither is shunned because of deference, and both help the Dragon Reborn.

A weird side-effect of the melting doorway ter'angreal, or why would such a power exchange happen?

But then, I've never heard of a strength reduction except for incomplete Healing. Even the Forsaken think that she can't be Lanfear because she's weaker in the Power - they've obviously never encountered it either.

One possibility is that Moiraine and Cyndane were given wishes, and Moiraine used hers to neutralize Lanfear in some ways. I wonder if the Finns are that powerful though. Or Lanfear requested freedom and that was the price, along with death of course.

BS's statements on the Eelfinn's powers made it pretty clear that they rather deal with items and can't fulfill any wish by simply making someone stronger or weaker, for example,
