Re: Three shall become one? - Edit 1

This may have already been brought up, if so sorry. But could it be that the three in question that Min brings up be saidin, saidar and the true power. Meaning, Callandor can only be used with a link of all three, and only with that can the dark be sealed away for ever. Again, probably a dumb question, but I thought I would put it out there

Hmmm I think your theory is ...... sound. Lews Therin said in TGS that something had to touch the Dark One (i.e. True Power ) at the end of AoL and they used saidin which caused it to be tainted. Using a combination of the three might yield a different result.

(Dunno if the 7 cuendillar focus points had anything to do the seven spokes of wheel ref. ->( the guide))

If I understand it correcly The Eye of the World ( not the book ) was a big (OP) Well. I always thought this was a source of saidin, seperated from saidin, to be used to build a new seal and thus not risk tainting the actual saidin again. RJ himself stated that it wasn't used as intended by its creators' at the end of the first book. Since the Well is empty, maybe cleansed saidin, saidar and TP might do the trick in combination.

Another thought: BS stated that all forums had overlooked a major incident which will have an impact at TG which happened between TDR & LoC. Going away from that the three shall become one is about the Powers, maybe callandors' property of splitting balefire has something to do with it (first seen in TSR). After all, the weave was 'forbidden' at the end of AoL so why go about devicing such a property of a Sa'Angreal if it's not absolutely needed? Maybe splitting and merging threads of the pattern could be what we're missing.

Who the three would be in that case?, LTT, Rand, Moridin or Rand, Mat, Perrin.... have no clue... just an idea or two..

Since I have answered two questions, in one message, can we at least agree that I managed to merge 'threads'? .......... oh dear
