Very conducive places, the bottom of the sea and outer space... fionwe1987 Send a noteboard - 20/11/2009 07:01:56 PM
Assume Ishy goes to the WoT equivalent of the Mariana trench. To do so, he needs to gateway himself in there.

Lets assume there is a weave that lets you handle the immense pressure of all that water.

Now, Ishy waits, gets to know the place, and opens a Gateway.

As you said, the prssure difference between space and the bottom of the ocean is immense. The moment the Gateway is open, there's going to be a great sucking force, pulling everything out.

Ishy is in the area, so he's going to be pulled out as well. Should he be pulled out before he can tie off the Gateway, he'll die, and the Gateway will wink shut.

While this is an excitingly elaborate suicide tactic, it is the most moronic "Evil" idea I've ever seen.
