This brings up an "Evil Wins, What Next?" scenario I've always wondered about

I used to think about Sauron and wonder, "well what if he won?" Because the big bad guy never wins. What I'm wondering is, if he or the Dark One won, what would they do at that point? All lands conquered, most people killed, the rest enslaved, nobody to fight. What do you do at that point? I think they would become seriously bored and depressed. Oh, they'd probably torture people for a while, for sport and have some fun crushing souls, but I'm thinking pretty soon it would just become a boring administrative paperwork job. I mean, Trollocs have to eat too, and somebody's gotta see to the halfmen's horse feed and manufacture new shackles and a thousand other details of empire. And you really can't rely on Forsaken to handle that kind of stuff well - they'll just screw it up. And the buck stops at your desk, so you have to get involved and make sure the proverbial trains run on time. I think supreme evil beings would be supremely bored if they won.
If Sightblinder slays the serpent of time and nothing exists, well how is that really a victory for him? Either he would cease to exist too, which sounds kind of tragic (is he in so much pain?), or he'd be all alone. And where's the fun in being all alone with nothing to do? I really think it would be in his best interests to just trick Rand into pulling a Lews Therin and sealing up the Bore again so he can come back out and have fun again in another 3000 years. Sometimes you have to restrain yourself in your own best interests. Maybe he could just tell himself, "Look, I know I could beat this guy. I am a very talented being and I feel good about that. I simply choose not to. I know what I like, and I like a challenge. I could end it all right now, but I'm just going to take another break and come back strong in 3000 years and do this all again."
