They would have to cut too much out of the other books and I think that would annoy enough people that it wouldn't be worth making them.
It isn't anything like Lord of the Rings. If you think about tSR, there are 3 main storylines and they barely have anything to do with each other. tSR would need to be 2 movies, or cut out the Elayne and Nynaeve storyline completely.
