It made me worried every time he touched the CK, that he was going to balefire something else.
If he hadn't done that to Graendal, then I wouldn't have had a care.
If he'd killed her one on one, I wouldn't have been worried in the least that he would balefire the Seanchan or actually rain down lightning on Far Madding or felt for him so much on Dragonmount. I obviously knew he wasn't going to destroy the world, but there was still tension that wouldn't have been there if he'd killed Graendal in a solo match.
It wasn't until the moment that he killed Graendal that I really believed he was capable of killing innocent people to get what he wanted. (I'm not necessarily saying what he did at her palace was wrong, but if he had done what he planned in Far Madding and later Ebou Dar, that would have been wrong).
