Mat being able to recognize Hawkwing's face. Mat would also be able to verify Hawkwing's sword.

I would be willing to place a bet that there is an unfilled Seanchan prophecy about Hawkwing's sword Justice.


If Ishy faked such a Prophecy about the Seanchan only making peace with Justice, then buried Justice under this statue, thinking "Hehe, this Prophecy will never be fulfilled", but alas, the Pattern provided Justice at the right time.
