Logain is just making too much of a RJ comment in which he said he'd "probably" do it that way.

Nope... that would touch on who killed Asmodean, by touching on who DIDN'T kill Asmodean. =P
Graendal doesn't need to be the agent of revelation to be the agent of Asmodean's death. And unless I'm missing something hidden in the millions of comments above or below... Sanderson never said someone would reveal THEMSELVES as Asmodean's killer. It's far more likely that a third party would reveal the information, to be honest.
If you take that as an ironclad guarantee, then yes, Logain has a point; but of course all the people disagreeing with him don't take it as an ironclad guarantee, and I for one don't think it was ever meant to be (although I imagine Jordan would've been amused by the argument if he'd gotten to read it). It's not his logic that is off so much as his basic premise.
Sanderson eliminates a particular somebody from consideration as Asmodean's killer

He didn't say if she did or did not.

Yes, Brandon did. I edited my original message to add in another quote from Brandon...see above *NM*

There's nothing in those quotes that even touches on who killed Asmodean.
