But it does eliminate Graendal.
Graendal cannot reveal herself as Asmodean's killer directly (because she is balefired) or indirectly (by Asmodean reappearing). But we know that someone will reveal themselves as Asmodean's killer.
Ergo, somebody else killed Asmodean, not Graendal.

Nope... that would touch on who killed Asmodean, by touching on who DIDN'T kill Asmodean. =P
Graendal doesn't need to be the agent of revelation to be the agent of Asmodean's death. And unless I'm missing something hidden in the millions of comments above or below... Sanderson never said someone would reveal THEMSELVES as Asmodean's killer. It's far more likely that a third party would reveal the information, to be honest.

Sanderson eliminates a particular somebody from consideration as Asmodean's killer

Yes, Brandon did. I edited my original message to add in another quote from Brandon...see above *NM*

That still doesn't say if she did or did not.

There's nothing in those quotes that even touches on who killed Asmodean.

Logain is just making too much of a RJ comment in which he said he'd "probably" do it that way.
