I don't see any forsaken willing to let themselves be bound by and binder. For one, it could be the equivalent of a death sentence with as old as they are (we simply don't know the implications of a 500 year old channeler becoming bound).

Agreed, but perhaps if it was that or be executed, no? My real point is Graendal's certainty of 'what' Mesaana is posing as, rather than where she is now, though.
