The only thing this confirms is that balefire can only remove a thread up to a few days/maybe a week. And that Asomodean died long enough ago that if his killer were balefired he wouldn't come back to life.
This in no way comments about whether Graendal was the killer or not - you can tell very much by Sanderson's reaction. He wasn't going to let this question lead him down that road.

Can Graendal reveal herself as Asmodean's killer in the next two books?
Answer: NO, because she got balefired and we will not see her anymore.
Therefore, someone else will reveal themselves as Asmodean's killer.
First, we don't know for certain that she was balefired. I think it's pretty clear that she was, but interpretation remains open and right now Sanderson is refusing to comment further because more will be revealed of Graendal in ToM. So, whether she's not dead, or we see a POV from an earlier period (remember, the various storylines in TGS take place on different timelines - the take home point is that the timelines are a mess), or if we just see others (such as forsaken) discussing her - we will get more info.
Also, we don't know that Asmo's killer will come from the POV of the killer - that was just one possibility as to how it would be revealed. We could just as easily see someone like Mordin say 'Graendal served the DO well with her death and for killing the traitor Asmodean'.
Your interpretations on the matter are simply wrong.

He didn't say if she did or did not.

Yes, Brandon did. I edited my original message to add in another quote from Brandon...see above *NM*

That still doesn't say if she did or did not.

It eliminates for the following

That is a fallacious leap of logic.

There's nothing in those quotes that even touches on who killed Asmodean.

Logain is just making too much of a RJ comment in which he said he'd "probably" do it that way.

But do you agree that Graendal cannot reveal herself if she got balefired? *NM*
