Are you really saying Rand can't use Callandor? Despite him having used it in earlier books? The women are only necessary to provide him with the buffer that is missing, I think for Sidious' idea to work Rand would have to use it on his own as the buffer would negate the amplification of the taint. He *needs* that flaw if this theory is to work.
