You have some far-out theories and seem to think I’m retarded for not thinking the same - Edit 1

Of course, I'm not defending the terrible theory of the main post. To the contrary, it always seemed obvious to me that Ilyena Goldenhair was reincarnated as the blonde Elayne. Jordan always threw in similar names like that to help people - al'Thor sounds mildly like Therin.

Also, I doubt Rand switches bodies with Moridin. I think he needs to switch bodies with Logain to justify Min's viewing of Logain. Logain - Logos - Jesus (Savior) where Lews Therin - Lucifer - Devil. Moridin inhabits Rand's body, and Rand can only save himself by going to Logain's.

Or did you think that a name like Lews Therin and a title like "Dragon" were meant to always be considered "good" in all ages of the Wheel?

Ilyena and Elanyne only have one attribute in common (hair colour) and I Uh...Hello...Ilyena...Elayne...do see similarity to the spellings to the names (see how dumb and annoying that is when someone else does it). Just because a women is named Helen in one life doesn’t mean she has to be Ellan in her next life (and at least those names rhyme). There have been no hints dropped as to Elayne being Ilyena reborn, even Lews Therin doesn’t think it in pasting. Them being the same person would add nothing to the story, especially at this point when Lews Therin’s voice is now gone.

I disagree with you on the Logain theory. I haven’t read the viewing in years but from what I remember I think it might be Logain taking Rands place as the leader of male channelers after TG, which is what I think the ‘glory’ viewing was about. I’d have to read what the viewing on Logain and Rand was again to be sure though

I have no idea what series you’ve been reading; but where did you get the idea that Lews Therin is Lucifer (the Dark One). He fought against the shadow as the supreme commander of the forces of the light and tried to seal the DO’s prison for good. He just got a horrific reputation for the last 3000 years because it backfired in a way none of the men for-saw, but the breaking was still better than what others wanted to do which was nothing and let the DO destroy all existence.

And what is with the attitude in your last paragraph and what does it have to do with anything I said? I don’t think Lews Therin is actually the Dark One like you do because I don’t share your obsession with names but I never said he was considered to be a good guy. Are you saying that Lews Therin Kinslayer, who is considered solely responsible for the breaking and is feared by all mortals, is held in high regards with people?
