1. I love how Hurin and Bela were worked back into the story. I am pretty sure that was a Sanderson decision in support of the fans.
I think Deadsy is probably right, and that RJ had Hurin planned. Bela, maybe not. :D

2. This has to be one of the best write ups including ptsd that I have seen. Rands arc was really well done here and very moving.
Rand's arc was really great.

3. Verin...oh my...I don't think anyone saw that coming. I would have loved to be a fly on the wall when Jordan announced that scene. That was an incredible misdirection and very craftily played.
I was in shock after reading it.

4. I believe Grendal is dead and before coming here I didn't think anyone would have debated it. I remember when I read it thinking..well that puts the most popular who killed asmoden theory to bed..that is going to make some waves.
I know, I was sure she was dead when I read it. I only began to doubt it when I read all the debates. Now I have no opinion. I still really want to know who killed Asmo. I never really had a guess for his killer, actually. I just thought it would be explained later. Never was, as we all know. Or, we just can't figure it out, it was hinted at. I miss Asmo. He was one of my favorite characters. :(
