It's possible Sanderson would decide to change that, but I'm not sure how such a seemingly substantial shift would work with the story RJ left behind. It also could be, of course, that RJ changed his mind, but I figure he knew enough about where the story was heading at the time he made the comment to give it something approaching finality.

I think the Crystal Throne will be collected from Seanchan off screen and moved to Ebou Dar if it figures in the story at all.
