How could it actually be the Last Battle if Jordan planned to write outriggers? *NM* RandAllThor Send a noteboard - 06/11/2009 04:03:00 PM
He's the Lord of the Grave, but those who aren't darkfriends are supposed to be near the Creator after death.
I've never taken it that the Creator brings life, the DO death, and if the DO died, the world couldn't carry on.

As for whether he dies or not, I don't know if he will, but if he doesn't I've got issue with the term Last Battle. It's not then. It's just the latest chapter in a long line, not the first, not the last, nothing really out of the ordinary. Exactly as Moridin describes it - if Rand wins, meh for another turning of the wheel and someone else fights him next time for the world. At some point he'll win.

The DO is the opposite of the Creator. And you can't destroy destruction *NM* - 06/11/2009 01:37:36 AM 235 Views
