Simply for the sheer amount of stuff that happens and lots of memorable scenes.

RJ would have written some things differently, but all in all it was a great and most exciting read, IMO. Especially because it finally had again lots of screen-time for THE main character of the series, Rand (even if it was very dark; which I like, though).

It was also a very cleverly plotted book, because things like e.g. Rand doing the almost impossible, namely "climbing" Dragonmount was already foreshadowed by Rand's talk to Nynaeve in ch. 33, or that Semirhage already considered that removing the Compulsion on Elza will be difficult, before it later played a crucial role to defeat Graendal.

I already fear that I won't like ToM that much, because Rand won't play a big role in it. On the other hand, we can of course expect other possibly great scenes in ToM as well: Moiraine's rescue, Mat vs. gholam showdown, Aviendha's WO test & maybe Egwene's AS test, more BT politics, likely Fain's return, Elayne's coronation and maybe Elayne already giving birth, possibly more about Demandred and Aran'gar, etc.
