Graendal - maybe the deadliest Forsaken Sidious Send a noteboard - 05/11/2009 07:00:12 AM

I found Rand/Lews Therin's attitude to this Forsaken to be very interesting in this book. I've always thought that she was one of the most dangerous people in the world, but Lews Therin amplified this to a level I didn't expect.

The funny thing about this is that Lews Therin has absolutely no idea how to beat her. He knows that she can't be baited into a duel. He admits that she is more intelligent and crafty than he is. You can literally feel how every step he anticipates, he expects her to have already countered. Lews Therin is not subtle in saying that she knows more about the mind and humanity than any other person. He knows how to fight Rahvin or Sammael, or other Forsaken, but he can't fathom this one.

For this reason, he was forced to commit a mass atrocity to capture her. It was the one thing she wouldn't anticipate... or would she? Either way, although Lews Therin established his fear of falling into Semirhage's hands, he made a big scene about Graendal and her lethal nature.

Some points no one addressed, a.k.a. Graendal lured Rand in... - 06/11/2009 05:16:12 AM 861 Views
Still no answers. I think I'm correct in feeling she is alive. *NM* - 06/11/2009 09:25:47 PM 320 Views
