Its possible that Ishy messed with the prophecies on both sides of the ocean. Many things in the Seanchan version (things that apply to Mat and Perrin, for example) are not in the Randland version, but seem to be true.
Maybe Ishy, seeing that by splitting one true prophecy into two seemingly contradictory prophecies, thought that he could sow chaos. Or maybe the whole Ishy thing is speculation.
There is nothing inherently opposite about Rand kneeling to Fortuona and her working in his support. It is the series theme.
