First, it would give the Aes Sedai credibility.

Second, it would give the Green Ajah credibility.

Third, it would hone the combat skills of the Greens. I believe the Tower has training "gyms" in the basement levels (Mentioned in New Spring, maybe? I forget.), but that doesn't compare to real world experience.


But I guess that would take away from the whole "Ivory Tower" thing the White Tower has going on. Can't afford to mingle too much with the masses...
I amuse myself.
