Other than the Mat thing, I thought this was an absolutely fantastic book and I'm very glad the series will now be finished!
Tylee's apperance near the beginning seemed like a bit of a Chekhov's gun situation or will we be seeing here again in ToM??
She was instrumental in making Tuon agree to the meeting with Rand, even if that then failed and merely postponed the WT raid. She also convinced Tuon of the existence of Trollocs, thus making her think higher of Mat.
If you were talking about both appearances, I don't know, I expect if we see a few Seanchan armies in the next two books, she'll probably be leading one of them, law of character conservation and all that.
seemed odd to me. Why were shadowspawn in the south? The only trolloc activity that we hear about is at the blight border. Are these supposed to be a remnant of the ones that attacked Rand in Tear? Why would they attack the Seanchan anyway? Something about that scene bothered me.
