And who says she ever faced 50 at any one time? Being able to take on enemies bit by bit is a large advantage, and that's more or less what she was doing. It is all but impossible for multiple people outside of a structure to engage one who is inside. She only ever had to face a few who were fighting her at the time. And with a sa'angreal against women with no more than their born strength, who are trying to channel from the back of a to'raken or raken for the first time (which, according to Tuon is a unique tactic for this raid, so they are not experienced in it), there is no reason why she should not have won. She is to be commended in the same way as a person undertaking an exhausting task, that could get her hurt if she messed it up. It hardly counts as any sort of significant challenge or heroic feat. Particularly if she is such a superior channeler as you and she have been asserting at least since KoD. You want to show off your little fireball tricks? Now put your money where your mouth is, and do something worthwhile with that fire. And to her credit, she did. But her side still lost, they still had sisters taken, and novices for whom they have an absolute moral responsibility to protect. That is no time for celebrating personal heroics or self-aggrandizement. Racking up a high total of kills in a defeat just means you did yor job (though sometimes it means you were glory-seeking instead of doing your job, albeit not in Egwene's case). And when it is analogous to sitting in a tower with an automatic rifle and a ton of ammunition, fighting people flinging spears from the back of motor cycles, you have no excuse for NOT raking up a high kill count.
Egwene had to fend off fireballs and lightning too. She merely ignored the shields because they bounced off her. The sul'dam made it quite clear that they were happy for the marath'damane to be captured or killed, with a preference for capture. The fact that 20 Aes Sedai died in the battle is proof of their less than benign intentions.
It depends on how you look at the battle, and you look at it very negatively. Galgan himself said that there were hundreds of damane to capture, so clearly they were expecting a bigger quarry than Tylee could even deliver. The Seanchan killed 20 Aes Sedai and I'd be very surprised if they captured as many. That leaves the White Tower standing, with hundreds of functional Aes Sedai and a thousand novices in a united system. I don't care if some Sisters are devastated because the Tower was finally damaged in a battle, the numbers speak heavily against the Seanchan.
Egwene couldn't even channel after the battle she was so exhausted. We personally saw her kill two sul'dam, and she describes killing many others - she may have killed half the damane for all we know. Several sul'dam and damane have been captured too. Egwene also tried to kill captured Aes Sedai before they could be taken away by the to'raken, so the Seanchan quarry is even less.
I don't deny that Egwene was supremely powerful in this battle - she wasn't only using a sa'angreal, she was also in a circle with the novices, maybe up to thirteen. I'm merely saying that she faced off a force that equalled her power. Maybe they didn't have the ability to shield her, but they definitely stepped up the pace at trying to kill her when they realized it.
You need to look at both sides of the equation. If Rand has Callandor, he's not vastly superior in any situation. What happens if he's facing a hundred Ash'aman?
