I was very surprised that the dedication didn't include...
"Always for Harriet".
Could it have been just an oversight or perhaps Harriet felt odd about.
To me it would have been a fitting tribute to RJ and the series.
Brandon was asked by Harriet to finish the series so I feel it would have been appropriate on many levels.
Thoughts?

I didn't even notice until you mentioned it, but it was something that RJ put in there for his wife. It was a personal thing between them so best left out now that the man is gone.
I did think the forward was quiet fitting. I particularly thought the part 'This is not my book. It is Robert Jordan's book, and to a lesser extent it is your book.' really summed up the finishing of the series. RJ couldn't finish his series, but he wanted to make sure the fans were taken care of and that his work that he spent so much of his professional career on was finished.
