Cannoli, I want to ask a legitimate question that can sound bitchy in just the printed text. I truly don't mean it that way, so please take it in the spirit it is intended. I am curious why you read these books. I am genuinely interested to know what you find positive about them. It shouldn't make me wonder so much about someone else, but all we hear is the negative. I mean hey, post what you feel, but whenever I read it I can't help but wonder.
You can tell me to keep my questions to myself if you want, but I don't ask it the mean way it could be read. :)

I am not saying that Sanderson did a bad job here, and the post was a comment on Egwene, not the writing. I have issues with the writing, but tGS was good enough. I am not offended in the least by your question, but I confess to ignorance as to the thought process that inspires it. You appear to be asking why I would read a series when I seem to have hated this book (which is a colossally stupid question since a different person wrote all the others, so I will assume you are not asking this), or why I would read a book with a character I despise so thoroughly. I cannot believe everyone but me only reads books with characters they like, so again, I cannot see why you would ask this.

You assume correctly. I must not have been clear.
I was asking about WoT as a series. I understand your arguments against Egwene and while I don't agree on many points I still understand and respect your position. I don't honestly know why I wonder because it really only affects you, but it sounds like you continue to read a series you have a strong dislike for. I can't imagine that is the case as it would be a colossal waste of your time, so my curiosity has been piqued.
