Right, almost forgot I can't have spoiler-y subject titles.
But, Verin. More specifically, Nicola, and that message? I'm a bit confused on this, but I THINK this is what happened:
-Verin talks to Laras, gets sweet tea, tells her to have food sent up to Egwene's in a bit. Gives Laras the message in a bottle to deliver to Egwene.
-Verin waits for Egwene to arrive.
-Verin meets with Egwene, drinks her poison, and... dies.
-A few hours later, after Egwene has had some time to go through the list of Black Sisters, Nicola shows up at the door. She quietly asks Egwene if she trusts Verin. Egwene says yes.
-Nicola gives Egwene a message in a bottle, along with the loudly said warning that the food was for Verin, NOT for Egwene
-The message says, simply, to wait.
-Egwene manages to get Verin's body out through a gateway.
So.... what? I'm a bit confused. Obviously I was expecting some sort of trick where Verin "died" and then is revived. However, Egwene even thinks to check for that. Verin died.
What was with the message? Was it simply to wait before ousting the Black Ajah? What was with the food Nicola brought? I was assuming it'd be the revivification herb for Verin, yet nothing happened.
Verin probably thought she had a possibility of surviving her ordeal, given her conversation with Mat. (That, or she used a very chancy plan to get Mat to stay in Caemyln for a month).
So? Thoughts, anyone?
