1. What do all you naysayers think now that the book has been split up? Does it seem that it was the appropriate course to take?
-Yes. It'd be way to F***ing big and we'd have to wait a couple extra years for anything to be released
2. On a scale of 1 to 10, what do you think of the books? Anything above a 10 will be considered "Arrogant" and you will be forever known as a Goodkind fan.
-I’d give it a 8. I’d say it’s about my 3rd or 4th favorite in the series right now, but we’ll see how I feel in a couple months have given it more time to sink in.
3. What was your favorite part?
-The entire part where Rand almost kills Tam, then almost destroys existence then Lews Therin helps teach him laughter and tears.
4. What was your least favorite part?
-Aviendha’s endless punishments and boring chapters
5. How do you think Sidious will get himself named Nae'Blis?
Backstabbing Moridin
6. Did you have any theories proven right in this book?
-Yes. It wasn’t Cadsuane that taught Rand to be more human. She actually failed quite miserably at that.
7. Any proven wrong?
-I thought the Red’s would succeed in getting Asha’man Warders and that they would help fight off the Seanchan. But it looks like things have gone bad for both the Red’s and the group that the Rebels sent
8. Any that could still happen?
-Rand meeting Moraine and finding out he’ll be a father may help him to have something to live for. Though it seems he may have solved that problem now.
9. How about any new theories you've come up with?
-Rand ‘knowing the Amyrlin’s anger’ will come purly from what has happened to the sisters that went to the BT recently, seeing as how she said she’d blame him for anything they did even if it was against his orders…. Kinda like how Rand could blame Egwene for being captured and put in a box , seeing as how all Aes Sedia are her responsibility.
10. Did Sanderson do an A+ job?
-I’d say so. Most of the time it really felt time a WOT book more than anything else. He did what he setout to do in that he tried to adapt his writing style to RJ’s characters, and not just try to emulate RJ’s style.
12. Can you wait for ToM?
-Not really, a year is a long time. But what other choice do we have? On the bright side 1 year is a lot less than 4.
13. How cool do you think Egwene is now?
-Well… I don’t hate her as much as I did back during her time with the Aeil, but I will hold off judjment as to if I hate her or not until I see how arrogant see is with Rand.
14. What did you think of seeing Tam finally?
-I thought this scene was great. It was foreshadowed a bit back in the earlier books that they would meet again but I kind of forgot about it. When Rand almost kills his own father; that was an intense moment for me. I found that even more incredible than him killing women intentionally.
15. Does Tuon and the Seanchan annoy the hell out of you with their ignorance and the dreaded H word (Hypocrisy).
-Yes, *sigh* and giving the months others have tried to change her mind I can’t imagine what will have to happen for her to be ‘bound’ to Rand
16. Can you believe how easily Moridin used Semirhage so that he could get Rand to use the TP?
-I still can’t figure out why Moridin and the DO let him do that. Was it simple to cause him pain and punish Semirhage at the same time. And what are the consequences of Rand using the True Power?
-Yes. It'd be way to F***ing big and we'd have to wait a couple extra years for anything to be released
