All true, but Rand did not know if the compulsion used this time was the same as before. From the way Nynaeve phrased it, there was a difference. And when we're discussing something so subtle, I think that difference has a major significance.
What difference are you referring to? She tells Rand that the man is heavily loaded with Compulsion and that there are lots of weaves - just less severe than the other guy. Graendal did have less time with him, after all.
This is very simply achieved. She Travels to a safe location in sight of Natrin's Barrow. The moment it is Balefired, she disposes of the weaves. We've seen Myrelle do long distance compulsion with Lan (through the bond, yes, but the possibility is there), and nothing is to say Graendal cannot release her own weaves from a distance.
Except for the huge fact that Nynaeve would notice that Graendal was maintaining a weave. Not only that, but it if you're implying that she unravelled her tied off weave from miles away - I find that completely implausible. Impossible actually. The only real possibility is that she did what Rand did with deathgates and made a weak knot that would unravel after a few minutes.
Does Nynaeve have skill at reading residues? I can't remember if she has ever mentioned them. Elayne says it is a rare skill in PoD, and does not mention Nynaeve as having this skill.
It's a rare skill to be able to interpret residues, but all channelers can see them.
Yup. And for the compulsion to then be absent, she would have to unravel it.
Or balefired.
I'm sure she's alive, though I don't see who else could have woven the compulsion.
It's in Graendal's character profile to be alive, but I really have no opinion either way. It's equally likely that we'll have a Forsaken tea party in the next book with Moridin saying that she's toast, and equally likely that she appears out of thin air and we all gasp.
I'm leaning towards her death, to be honest. It was a huge atrocity to kill her, and even if she really is dead, it remains a victory for the Shadow because it made Rand stoop to a new low, spread chaos and use balefire on a massive scale.
Semirhage is dead though. I think we can agree on that.
Oh and Be'lal... the book suggests from Moridin's PoV that balefire in any form is the final death for a Forsaken.

The major flaw is that you think Moridin actually cares about Graendal
