I can't see how Graendal would have predicted that Rand would balefire a whole palace

Rand went insane, and thus totally unpredictable.
Shaidar Haran and Moridin set Rand up, told him about balefire, gave him the access key, and had him tortured until he was forced to draw on the True Power.
I think Graendal was used as a pawn in their plan to turn Rand to the dark, nothing more. Unless Graendal was privy to their plans, I don't see how she could have foreen any of the events that happened to her.

I think it was Moghedien that was balefired in Natrin's Barrow fortress/palace, not Graendal.
