From TGS his armies are in place and ready to strike, from RJ interviews we've met him in the series (I'm sure he seemed surprised that folks hadn't figured out who he was). While reading TGS I couldn't shake the thought that he is Darlin, someone please tell me why he can't be? Been too long since I read the other books but Darlin just seems to fit somehow.


If Darlin were Demandred we would have had a clue from Min. You can't mask yourself from her ability to see images and when you are a channeler you constantly have images dancing about your head to her eyes. Darlin has not had that, and at this point is loyal to Rand.
