My point stands: I'm not sure what has changed that would make Tuon change her mind about accepting a truce or alliance on the same terms as the one offered in TGS.
(Defeat probably was the wrong word, but the Seanchan raid/campaign should have gone even better by all rights. They caught the Tower completely off guard and would probably have done at least twice as much damage if it hadn't been for Egwene.)
