Early speculation for ToM: can Sanderson really pull it off?

In spite of all that did happen in TGS, it strikes me that a lot more still needs to happen before the Last Battle, especially in Rand's arc. If memory serves, I've read that BS said Rand and Egwene will probably get around five chapters each in ToM, which itself will end with the major characters reuniting and the outbreak of TG. In his five or so chapters (let's call it seven or eight, assuming some overlap with Egwene's and the others toward the end), he will need to bind the Nine Moons to serve him, know the Amyrlin's anger, and break the seals at the very least, to say nothing of likely having to fend off an attack from Gawyn, continuing to grapple with his mental/emotional issues, and possibly finding himself pulled into the BT conflict and/or any of a number of other subplots. Am I the only one who sees this as a tall order to pull off convincingly in a single book given Rand's seemingly limited role and in light of where things stand at the end of TGS?

Right, hence my upping the number from four or five to seven or eight. *NM*

That makes sense, though Mat and Perrin have a long way to go before reuniting with him.

Caemlyn is a possibility, but I still think Tar Valon will be the converging point.

I'm still hoping it'll be TV, but Caemlyn makes more and more sense. *NM*

I could easily be misremembering about Logain-Taim being a cluster. Does anyone else remember that? *NM*
