Did Verin ever call him that? I don't think she did. That bothered me a little in the book because I didn't recall her calling him anything but Mat. I looked up a few chapters in tGH, and in everything I've read so far she always calls him Mat.

I know this is a minor thing, but it took me out of the story and it would have been easy to look up how she speaks to him.
