I have gotten back from my "The Gathering Storm" shopping. I have puchased my Sumatra Blend coffee, I have purchased purchased the necessary supplies to make chocolate chip cookies (which I will make on Monday evening), I purchased the supplies to make a pot roast for Tuesday's supper, I have already made the tortilla soup for Tuesday's lunch, and I have made the "Do Not Disturb" sign.

I outlined the plan for my 19 year old son.

8:30 am Josh will get up, get dressed, brush his teeth and be at the local Barnes and Noble by 8:55 am.

9:00 am Josh will enter the Barnes and Noble and pick up a copy of The Gathering Storm,

9:05 am Josh will be in the check out line.

9:10 am Josh will leave Barnes and Noble with the book and drive directly home.

9:25 am Josh will hand me the book and not disturb me for the rest of the day.

While Josh is purchasing the book I will make coffee, get the pot roast ready for the crock pot, put the Do Not Disturb sign on my door, and make breakfast.

Josh has told me the plan is unworkable. Josh said he will be tired. He gets off work and won't be home until 2:00 am. That's if he doesn't spend time with his "we're just friends" female friend of his who he spends all of his free time with and is cranky if he hasn't exchanged 200 text messages a day with her.

Please help with advice.

Nyneave would give her braid a tug and dose him with some herb that doesn't taste right.
Aviendha would lecture him on how much toh he has.
Elayne would lift her chin, look down her nose at him, show off half her bosum, and get Brigitte to thump him.
Elaida would sentence him to a daily penance with Silviana for 72 years.
Siuan would tell him about silverpikes eating children in the weeds.
Mat would take off his hat, swear, and threaten to paddle him.
Min would flash her knives threatenly.
Egwene would set his pants of fire (this one is for Cannoli)
Cadsuane would tie him up with Air and give him a few swats.

Where is Sorilea when I need her. She would put an end to this nonsense.
