It has been about a year since he was killed. He was killed on day 547 of the series, and Knife of Dreams ends on day 761. The point at which she was killed is probably around day 800.
Doing so could have serious repercussions for the Pattern. I mean Asmodean was killed months and months ago, can't remember exact time line but surely its been nearly a year?
