THE DA VINCI CODE has sold to date, eighteen times as many copies as KNIFE OF DREAMS did (72 million or so to less than 4 million). If we were closer to when Brown's new book came out, I'd say STORM wouldn't have a chance, but it's been out a while now and STORM is an eagerly-awaited book and several of the previous books got in at #1, so I'd say it has a fair chance of dislodging him, even temporarily.
Based on the respective sales of their last few books, STORM actually has a much bigger chance of dislodging him than Steven King's new book, UNDER THE DOME, although the new King book is the most hyped and well-reviewed book he's produced in some considerable time (as well as his biggest book in almost 25 years), so that might sell unusually well for King.
