Call book stores tomorrow guys (10/20) - Edit 2

Here's the experience I just had.
I went to the bookstore on a hunch. It's an independent store, but they follow the rules anyway. I just had to double check though.
I kinda know the lady that works there. I went up to the counter and asked "Are you ordering the new Robert Jordan book?"
Lady: "Yes. We actually have it in the store already but we're not allowed to sell it. Should I put your name on one?"
Deadsy: *smile* "Can I bribe you?"
Lady: *smile* "No, it's illegal. You can buy it tomorrow when it goes on sale though."
Deadsy: *trying really hard not to gape* "Okay I'll be here tomorrow. I'm excited."
Um, maybe Tor secretly pushed up the date? I mean, getting the books two weeks ahead of time was quite a big gap. I don't know. But... for some reason she knew she couldn't sell it today. Like the box had a note on it or something. I just hope she doesn't find out anything different before tomorrow .
Edit: One other tidbit I'd like to add is that I've been going to this book store for 5 releases now. They never get it far ahead of time. They either get it the day before or the day of. But I don't know if that changes anything. But I suppose it could just mean that since she never receives books a week ahead of time that she just assumes she can sell it tomorrow.
