Don't forget that among his notable works include acting as a Substitute Sniffer when Rand goes off tripping on acid with Hurin and Loial (in tGH).

Really, I'd have thought the ability would have penetrated much more deeply into the female WoT population but surprisingly it has not been mentioned.


It doesn't really allow Perrin to catch up to the others, but I'll add that for the sake of accuracy!

I just get the feeling that when RJ created Perrin, he ran out of ideas for the character a long time before the story even got started.
