Kronin al'Sulc mentioned the Shadow leading and sacrifice helping the Light win.

Sacrifice has been foreshadowed about Rand and Mat. How about on the Shadow side? Does anyone believe Lanfear in tDR when she says she follows no one (not even the Great Lord) and that there is only one man she would stand by (LTT)? Anyone think she will sacrifice herself in some way for LTT?

I don't know if it will happen, but I think it'd be kinda cool.


I really don't think she is that noble. I don't think Lanfear actually cares about anyone beyond herself in any genuine way making personal sacrifice unlikely. I think her "love" for LTT is fueled primarily from jealousy and selfishness rather than any positive emotions. Now I'm sure she'd be willing to throw away thousands of minions lives for LTT without a heartbeat if she didn't seem to hate him in the last few books for rejecting her, but it would still be other people's lives she threw away not her own.
