"1a. Do you suppose it's possible for a non-channeler to break free of restraints imposed by a channeler?"
No.
"For example, if Elayne were to bind Lan's arms behind his back, would there be any way for him to snap the flows of air apart through sheer force of brute strength alone? Why or why not?"
No. Channeling works on the ultimate forces of the universe - these forces are beyond the physical strength of people to resist.
"1c. Do you suppose it would be possible to use some form of Escape Artistry to weasle out of bands of Air created in this fashion?"
It depends on how the restraints were formed - if they were relatively clumsy loops of air that could be felt and had openings through which to fit bodyparts, perhaps. If they were formed to cover the entire body or a limb in such a way that it is held firm, the only way I see you escaping is to have someone slice or hack that limb off with a weapon.
"2a.Do you think it's possible to break free of a block of Hardened Air?"
No.
"For example, when Jaichim Carridin is trapped by Liandrin in tSR, do you suppose that he might be able to snap out of those flows if she were to tie them off and leave him?"
No. Moreover, as RJ explained in a Q&A, Liandrin could tie the weave off and unless she limited the duration of the effect it would actually last forever.
"2b. Do you believe that the answer to the above question varies according to the relative strength of the channeler and the trapped subject?"
No.
"2c.Do you think that a block of Hardened Air could be destroyed by people attacking it from the outside?"
No. We already saw this happen - 1) during New Spring, Moiraine creates a wall of hardened air currents that held a group of three men - when they tried to force their way through, they could not penetrate it and 2) during Nynaeve's battle with the Black Ajah sisters (the battle for the Bowl of Winds), the Sisters cleared a space around themselves that enabled them to enter the battlefield and stand in a clearing that they erected to keep any attackers from their vicinity.
"2d. How much time do you suppose it takes for a channeler to Harden the air around a subject? Do you think it's sufficient for a target to escape the area before it could be hardened?"
No. I think it takes less than a moment of thought if the channeler knows how to do it. It all depends on their skill level. An Aes Sedai, for example, can do multiple things with the Power in seconds, whereas Egwene, Nynaeve and Elayne, despite being stronger with saidar, were untrained at first and it took them a few moments to duplicate the effects.
"In the Wheel of Time d20 RPG, any weave that deals damage to the target's body affords a "Fortitude Saving Throw" (a saving throw that measures your general hardiness, stamina, and pain threshold) for half-damage. While fair, I don't know that this representation is really accurate. If Semirhage decides that your organs aren't working anymore, is there really anything you can do? If a powerful healer decides to rend your insides, is there any way to keep from being slaughtered on the spot?"
No. I would say this rule was put in place to give non-channelers a fighting chance. But then again, WotC has rules that makes every combat look like a massive whack-a-mole competition. Other RPG systems, such as Call of Cthulhu, make it much easier to die from something like a dagger or sword wound, so there is no reason to "balance everyone out". In such a system, everyone is technically a threat - it all depends on the circumstances.
"Here's a thought. If Nynaeve were being tortured to death by Semirhage, and Lan wanted to try and save her, do you think he would be able to attack Semirhage if she exclusively used weaves that rended his insides? I'm all but certain that Semirhage would be much more likely to resort to keeping Lan restrained under those circumstances, but the question is still valid."
No. It is hard to attack someone when your heart, lungs and internal organs are ruptured. Think of it this way: if you have a heart attack, you are so busy clutching your chest and choking that you don't have the capability to breath let alone move or wield a weapon.
"These are just a few questions. I may have others as I continue to try hammering out the details."
I think the WoT D20 rules suck, personally. I tend to go with Call of Cthulhu-type rules for lethality purposes. Ironically, it is hard to go into "god mode" when a wound of sufficient force can make you go into shock or etc - it makes all the characters mortal and vulnerable, and I like it this way. It also makes the campaign an actual adventure where *gasp* scholarly and social skills are just or even more valuable than combat skills.
No.

An "accurate" WoT game would be heavily, HEAVILY biased in favor of channelers

Good idea - esp. since in Ars Magica, you have a "non-magical" character under your control, as well *NM*

Can't reply to all of these - many of these OP-discussions are heavy on the philosophy

Maybe Mage: The Ascension would work better. A vague, open-ended system would be better

That was probably 'bending light', as Rand used on Egwene in Cairhien, no? *NM*
