Given that you will probably turn into a mass murderer if left to run free your prison is the WT where you are fed and sheltered from those who would love to kill you and are generally treated very well.
I fail to see which part of that doesn't suck.
You don't have to go to the Black Tower. If you do, the Aes Sedai who bonds you will find out that she can't treat you just like any other warder. She may have serious problems compelling you through the bond and you may even be able to match her. Given time the relationship will probably evolve into more of a partnership. In exchange you get the help of one of the most politically powerful groups in the land. As far as the Reds goes they have some nut jobs in their ranks but they are not looking for warders. For the rest they have been stuck doing a rotten job that no one else really wants to do but if no one stepped up to the plate your country would be a bigger version of the Land of the Madmen.
One.
We don't yet know what the effect is on a fellower channeler. If you are feeling down embrace the One Power. That will make you feel better. Re Servitute see above.
He was referring to all Warders, not only channeling ones.
It sucks in Shara or Seanchan but the Aiel don't force anyone to go to the blight. You believe that you are going to kill the Dark One. I don't think there is any consequences if you decide not to go. In any event if you are going to go insane and start killing everything around you why not do it when you are surrounded by Shadowspawn. At least you can take some of them with you.
Again, I fail to see what part of this doesn't suck.
But you get to live in a relatively stable country where the rule of law is upheld even for the nobility. If you want to be king go invade Murandy.
This is a non-argument. Just because it could suck more doesn't mean it doesn't suck.
They do? I don't remember any women planning battles or working out strategy or other command level things. They manage the house its not the same thing.
You're confusing Roofmistresses with Wise Ones.
No one forces you to go and try out for Clan Chief. If you do go there is the risk of death but you don't have to worry about a long apprenticeship beating carpets and making tea for the Wise Ones. If you survive its instant promotion.
Two. And by the way, you have to prove your worth to those very Wise Ones before you are authorised to go at all. 'Instant promotion' doesn't qualify at all.
They were stupid to go against Rand directly. If your are stupid you deserve what happens to you, male or female.
Semirhage went against Rand directly.
She is such a hero that no one had heard of her outside of a very obscure book with bad art.
Not an argument.
I think Ishamael may have helped as well. He is male in both bodies.
Ishamael countered Hawkwing's mistakes? I would have thought he would have caused Artur's greatest mistakes.
A quick death or a life slaving away on a sub sistance farm when you are used to servants and palaces. A lot of people might chose the quick death.
If they want to, they can. Colavaere did. Men might like to actually have the choice as well. But this does not apply only to Rand's verdict on criminal offenses. Check out the status on his soldiers - Maidens compared to anyone else. Or Semirhage, again. I doubt she'd rather be dead. None of the Forsaken are eager for reincarnation, especially since it depends on Shai'tan's whims.
Thats a legal defence but I don't think there is anything to say that the man just has to stand there and be stabbed.
Getting attacked for next to no provocation sucks regardless of whether you can defend yourself.
If you don't like high stakes don’t go to court. You should probably also be careful about getting tattoos whether you are male or female.
Three. That's three times now you've used the 'you can avoid those injustices if you simply choose a life of mediocrity' excuse. How does it not suck that if you have the same gifts a woman has as a man, you have to ignore them and content yourself with being less than you could be? It's like saying 'Oh, it doesn't suck to be a working woman, because you don't have to work. You can choose to stay home and cook, clean and have babies for your husband.'
Most of the civilians that those armies have "fun" with when they capture a city are women.
In WoT? When did this happen?
The first rule of being a ninja is "do no harm". Unless you intend to do harm, then do lots of harm.
