Name competitions are close to the fastest way to cheapen something. I can't believe that any respectable author could consider this, even if the characters are completely irrelevant.

It violates almost everything that is special to a fantasy series, least of all including reality. Some of those names aren't even WoT-like.. Eric, Fitzgerald, Han... :rolleyes:

I'm just glad Barbie from QoTW wasn't included. Reading about Barbie Sedai would just be too much.

I really hate it when people have to reduce classy things into cereal box quality popularity shows just to get a small and transient rise out of the masses.
