Carrying out a punishment because its convienent doesn't make it right. It boils down to a case of becoming no better then your enemies. Aridhol learned that lesson the hard way.
Hardly. Aridhol was Aridhol not because it did horrible things to fight the Shadow, but because it crossed the line and turned against the Light too, then it turned against itself. The taint of SL emerged only from Aridhol's self destruction.
It's way too late for a pre-TG neo Aridhol. What's the issue now is more the Ligth taking means it would rather not because it has to to defeat the Shadow.
The closest it came to an embryo of Aridhol in the series is with Masema. With a few decades, and left alone to his devices, he could have self-destroyed and eventually created an Aridhol. Maybe (not that he would have been left alone long enough to achieve this).
Just look at the Seanchan. They are ruthless, use torture and slavery, still fight the rest of the Light etc. - and the WC were not so different too - and yet, the worst about them in the greater picture is not an Aridhol, is that they made themselves all too easy for the Shadow to turn against the rest of the Light's forces.
A potential new Aridhol is strictly a post-TG issue now. A fairly distant one unless Fain/Mordeth survives.

Nynaeve does. Egwene did it solo in tDR. Rand did 3 at once in LoC, but men don't seem to know how

I think Egwene took longer because it was the first time. *NM*
